What is Sherpa do Mar?

Euroregional platform to promote competitiveness in the marine-maritime field through the promotion of technology-based companies.
FINANCING

Sherpa do Mar is a project integrated into the INTERREG V-A Spain-Portugal cross-border cooperation Program (POCTEP) 2014-2020, 75% co-financed by FEDER funds.
COORDINATOR

The Principal Beneficiary of Sherpa do Mar is the University of Vigo, where the REDE research group, Campus do Mar and the R&D Office are the promoters of the project.
OBJECTIVES

The general objective of this project is to launch a new cross-border network (Galicia-North of Portugal) to stimulate the creation and consolidation of new knowledge-intensive business activities in the marine-maritime field.

Led by the University of Vigo, it has the participation of eight other partners from Galicia and Northern Portugal
